- The method of laser eye surgery to correct visual defects enables eliminating or reducing the necessity of wearing the eyeglasses
- Laser surgery of eye vision defects is acknowledge all over the world as the safest, effective and predictable method of correcting eye problems
- Laser surgery is controlled by special customized computer software
- The surgery is painless, it lasts several minutes and it is performed as an outpatient procedure i.e. it does not require an overnight stay in our clinic
- The effects of the surgery, upon full stabilization of visual acuity are permanent and do not affect the possibility of other eye sickness
We are in possession of all the measures that are necessary to achieve satisfying results of our surgery procedures:
- Our specialists have broad experience – we have been performing the eye surgery to correct vision defects for 10 years
- Our doctors have been trained in the best ophthalmologic centres in Germany, the USA and in the Russian Federation
- Our specialists participate on regular basis in the most important and the major ophthalmologic conventions dedicated to refractive surgery – organized by the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the European Ophthalmologic Society. We present the effects of our scientific works at many conventions in Poland and abroad
- We are strongly oriented to implementation of refractive solutions being the best for our patients – among others, as the first clinic in Poland we performed the EPI-LASIK surgery as early as in 2004
- We have extended our diagnostic instrumentation, making it possible for us to verify and classify the patients interested in surgery correcting the vision defects, precisely and comprehensively
Since April 1st 2009 we have a new generation excimer laser Carl Zeiss Meditec MEL-80!
Our excimer laser MEL-80 has American FDA approval, stating its effectiveness in wide range of eyesight defects.
It ensures higher SAFETY and COMFORT of performed surgery due to:
- Special laser frequency which allows for avoiding thermal effects
- Laser operation based on patented „flying spot laser” technology
- Optimized diameter of an average active beam (0,7mm), bringing excellent correcting results
- Optimization of ablation zone through use of aspheric profile, saving the tissue
- Shortened ablation time
- „Active Eye Tracker” system, equipped with active monitoring of eye ball position – automatically locating the pupil
Together with MEL-80 laser we use aberrormetric and topographic platform, ensuring full-profile diagnosis – CRS MASTER, particularly useful in persons with astigmatism, especially with irregular astigmatism.
CRS-MASTER is major advance in laser technology in the world, used for planning individual ablation in combination with Excimer laser MEL-80.
This unique diagnostic system allows for performing individualised eye correction surgery, based on cornea topography and wave front, i.e. the measurement of higher row ophthalmologic disturbances. CRS Master as the only platform in the market uses at the same time the data from topograph and aberrometer.
CRS-MASTER that we use is equipped with OcuLign system – ensuring fully automatic registration of eyeball position during the examination, as well as surgery, which increase precision of performed corrections.
The microceratomes NIDEK MK-2000 and Amadeus II (AMO) used by us are modern devices, limiting the risk of surgery to minimum:
- We pay special attention to quality and results of our procedures. For this purpose we have created a pioneer in European scale statistical application monitoring over 100 factors relating to patient eligibility, course of procedure and results of post-surgery examinations.
- During each procedure laser operation is supervised by specially trained technician.
- Each procedure of laser correction of visual defects is registered in video system.
Our center was founded with aim to provide ophthalmology services of highest quality. Everybody from our team treats the patient's well being and full satisfaction with the highest priority.
