Laser Vision Correction - Before

Contact our Medical Center MAVIT and the date of the preliminary examination will be appointed.

IMPORTANT!

• If you wear soft contact lenses, it is important to stop wearing them at least three weeks before the pre-treatment examination!
• If you wear hard contact lenses, you should stop wearing them at least four weeks before the pre-treatment examination!
• If you use oral contraception, do not stop taking the pills for three months before and after the pre-treatment examination!

Failure to do so may produce poor surgical results. If the pre-treatment examination qualifies your eyesight defects for laser correction, the date of surgery will be appointed.

TO BE REMEMBERED BEFORE SURGERY

• Stop wearing soft contact lenses at least three weeks before the surgery.
• Stop wearing hard contact lenses at least four weeks before the surgery.
• Do not stop using (if you are) oral contraception for three months before the surgery.
• Stop using cosmetics (deodorants, perfume or creams) at least 24 hours before the surgery.
• You are going to be absent from work - remember to make all the necessary arrangements.

TO BE REMEMBERED ON THE DAY OF THE SURGERY

• Do not drink alcohol, coffee or other drinks containing caffeine.
• Do not put your make-up on.
• Wash your head, face and eyes thoroughly.
• Wear comfortable clothes.
• Arrange for someone to drive you home after the surgery
• Come to our Center 30 minutes before the surgery.
